Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Vomiting

I have had reflux disease and been prescribed Kapidex (dexliant). I still get severe pain so I was diagnosed with an irritable sensetive stomach, and now on ZOFRAN and some other medicine to calm the stomach down. I have been on these two new medications for two weeks now. My doctor says if they do not work. this relates to my gall bladder. I have been in severe abdominal pain, constipated, nausea, vomiting, etc. Everytime I eat, I feel sick. This morning I woke up, I threw up about a quarter size of bloood, then a few hours later. I urinated blood. It did not hurt, nothing. My stomach is in severe pain, and I can barely walk. What do you suggest?

Hi,

The severe stomach pain can be from acute gastritis, gall bladder issue or associated with other systemic issue. The blood in urine with copious amount is alarming and I would like to revert back with your available investigations to focus further in this instance, as there can be severe urinary tract infection, calculus or else.

Obviously the treatment will depend upon the diagnosis, which is bit a step away at this point, primary relief with anti emetic as Zofran and PPI as Pantoprazole on empty stomach.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
