Brief Answer:
try to follow sleep hygiene

Detailed Answer:
Hello Vyes,

Thanks for writing to us.

Insomnia is of two types.

1. Primary: In which sleep disturbance is the main problem. No other physical or psychological problem. Treatment includes benzodiazepine group of drugs like clonazepam or oxazepam which you have been prescribed. These are strict prescription medicines and must be taken after consulting doctor and taking prescription.

2. Secondary: In which sleep disturbance is secondary to some physical or psychological problem. Main part of the treeatment is to treat underlying problem. Benzodiazepine would help in this case also.

There are some measures called,'Sleep Hygiene' which help in both insomnia. You can find the same in below mentioned link and follow them until you see doctor for evaluation and prescription.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
