Does Oral Sex Increase The Risk For HIV And STD?

default
Posted on Thu, 28 May 2015
Question: Hi! I've been to a massage girl, and she licked the head of my penis. Then she touched her vagina and did a handjob to me. Can I get STDs or something like that from those actions?
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV /STD. No risk with hand job

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query
STD/HIV through oral sex is very low. STD/ HIV through hand job is almost nil. Touching vagina and handling penis also carries negligible risk for HIV /STD. If you are not any lesions over the penis externally, you need not worry much. Yeast infection and Herpes infection can follow oral sex. If any changes seen over the penis, consult your physician.

Thank you, doctor. Girl had no visible infections on her lips. If I decide to do the test in the morning (basically 12 hours after it happened) - can it show something ?

Brief Answer:
tests for STD will be positive in infection after 4 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back
When there is no obvious lesions over her lip, you need not worry about that incident. Similarly till you don't have anything abnormal, there is nothing to worry. Tests for STD /HIV would not reveal anything by 12 hours after the risk activity. Different STD diseases can be diagnosed by appropriate tests at appropriate time (4-12 weeks). Till then you have to wait.
