Question: Does naproxen sulfate affect the liver? I have been taking ibuprofen and there appears to be some negative impact.

Hi,

Both Naproxen sulfate and ibuprofen affect kidney and have no significant effect on normal liver. However both naproxen and ibuprofen are both same class of medicine belonging to non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) - it can have additive effects.

Therefore it would be better to avoid one of the two drugs.
