Question: I had thyroid cancer total removal was on synth road wasteful tosh basically didn't respond dr put me on arm our and I felt energized weight started to come off and felt my self again. Now my tush is0.0 and although dr wants to keep my numbers borderline high to avoid return of cancer, she is now switching ne from 120 mins each day to 6 days. Will those other awful symptoms return or will this be a suttle change?

Good day,
Noted your concern.
After the surgery and ( radio iodine treatment) doctors want TSH to be suppressed to around 0.1 range for at least five years based on the pathology report. Dose must be modified to achieve this range of TSH. You have to take enough calcium and vitamin D to protect your bones while on this high dose of Thyroid hormones to protect the bones. In this dose, you are likely not to gain weight, but may lose coupld of kilos of weight. Occasional patients develop palpitations and tremors
