Brief Answer:
You may not be pregnant.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.
If you consumed emergency pill (I-pill) within 24 hrs of unprotected sex then it is 95% effective.

Sooner you take the pill lesser the chances of pregnancy.

You had pill within half an hour, so the effectiveness of the pill is more in your case and the chances of pregnancy are very less.

Please wait and watch for your next menses.

If in case you will not resume your next menses, then you should go for a home urine pregnancy test after 7 days of missed period bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to assist you.

Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa

Reference is made to my above query. I took an ipill on 16 and then got some spotting (brown discharge) for 2 to 3 days on 24 sept.
My last periods was on 4sept and now till today I have not got my periods.

What are my chances of pregnancy. Until when I should wait for my periods.

Brief Answer:
You should wait till 11 th October.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

It is nice to get word from you all again.

The probabilities of pregnancy are almost negligible in your case.

You should wait for your period till 11th of October, if you will not resume it, then please go for a home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy (though the chances of pregnancy are very very less in your instance).

I-pill containing high doses of progesterone so it may change your menstrual cycle.

You do not worry about it.

Please feel free to discuss and add more.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
It can be a withdrawal bleeding.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

You are most welcome.

The brown discharge on 24 th is most probably due to the withdrawal bleeding a side effect of I-Pill.

So please do not worry about that.

Wait and observe for your period.

Please feel free to discuss and add more.

Good luck.
