default
Posted on Fri, 6 Oct 2017
Question: My resting heart rate is between 100-120. It woke me up. I believe it may be anxiety since we are under a CAT 5 storm threat. Tried a warm shower to relax but still racing with ringing in my ears

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through the details provided by you i would like to tell you that yes anxiety and stress are the most common cause of a racing heart.

But if your heart rate is constantly high then its advisable to get an ECG done to make sure there is no rhythm abnormality going on.

I hope this information will be helpful. May God Bless.

Warm Regards
