Brief Answer:
This is an insignificant dose of propranolol.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that this is a very slow dose of propranolol, probably insignificant, when considered that it is taken 1 time per week.

So it can not be related to significant hair loss as a side effect.

Why are you taking such a low dose of propranolol? It is too low to treat any health disorders.

I recommend you consulting with the dermatologist for a careful physical examination and some blood tests (completete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, thyroid hormone levels, sex hormone levels, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests, etc.), to establish the possible cause of your hair loss (skin or metabolic disorders).

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need!

Greetings!

Dr. Iliri
