Does Propranolol Cause Dry Eyes?

Question: I had sex with my bf on the 7th day of my period. My last period started on 7th January. My periods are very regular and excessive. So next one is due by the 5th February. On the 2nd and 3rd day my bleeding is very excessive and by the 4th day it was almost over. He penetrated but did not ejaculate in me. 2 days later, that is on the 9th day of my period I got a urinary infection. I was prescribed Ciplox500mg and Citralka syrup. The tablets were twice daily and syrup at regular intervals. Few days later, my breast sides and armpit started to hurt badly and my vagina is now dry. The 7th day of my period was the 13th of January and urinary infection medicine started on 15th January. My breasts still hurt, the nipples are fine, just the sides, below and towards the arm pit. I'm very scared, are these signs of pregnancy? I also am getting pimples.

The heaviness of the breast and mild pain on the sides can be due to mild hormonal changes in the body. The 7th day of the period is not a fertile time of the period with a regular 28 day cycle. Since there was no ejaculation inside, the chances of pregnancy are almost zero. You need not worry.
You can take a mild pain killer like acetaminophen for the mild pain. You are likely to get your normal period well on time. Slight delay can happen due to stress and anxiety. In case the periods are delayed by more than a week then do get a pregnancy test done.

Hello doctor, thank you for your reply. I did a pregnancy test just now and it came negative. Would that be reliable? Or is it too early to check?

You should test for pregnancy at least 15 days after the date of unprotected sex. It is right now too early to get a positive test.

Hi Doctor,

I took your advice and did a repeat test today (after the 28th). That is, did a test with the first urine on 29th morning (16th day after sex) and it has come negative. Does that mean I'm safe. This is my last follow-up question allotted. Do let me know please.
