Does Ocuvite Interact With Warfarin?
Question: I am on Coumadin - Warfarin. I have factor V condition. Trying to maintain INR between 2.5 and 3.0. Had blood clots in one leg 15 years ago. None since on Coumadin regimen.
I started taking Ocuvite a couple weeks ago at Eye Dr. suggestion. I am 68 years old. For the last week or so, I have had some sensations and numbness in that leg - blamed it on hip old age. Could this be Ocuvite effect on INR with Coumadin. Ocuvite does not indicate it has Vitamin K. But drug interaction charts show possible interaction with some vitamins that might contain Vitamin K.

Relax, Ocuvite does not have any adverse interaction with warfarin and does not affect INR.
Numbness is suggestive of a neuropathy and is not a symptom of a clot in the veins. You could take a B1,B6, B12 supplement like neurobion . Next time when you do your blood works , you could also get a vitamin D level done as deficiency of vitamin D is another cause of such leg symptoms.
