Does L-arginine Hydrochloride Help To Boost Immunity And Health?
Question: Hello Doctor!
I have started taking L-Arginine hydrochloride for the last 10 days, before going to bed - 5 grams of the amino acid on a daily basis. I do this in order to boost growth hormone production naturally while I sleep. My question is, how long should I take L-Arginine HCL? can it be taken continuously lifelong?
My Stats:
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Height: 5.8 ft
Weight: 146 lbs
Health status: Healthy, no major health issue
I exercise religiously 6 days a week, have a healthy diet that includes a lot of proteins and vitamins (I take a good multivitamin everyday) and I don't smoke nor drink. I also take Ubidecarenone 60 mg daily.
I basically want to be youthful and I do feel maintaing a healthy lifestyle along with these supplements help me a lot!
Please let me know your thoughts on L-Arginine.HCL dose and duration.

Would taking 10 mg L-Arginine daily cause any side effects? Is there any particular brand you suggest?
Also, I am thinking to combine it with Citrulline and/or Glutamine. Please, can you suggest a good combination - arginine+citrulline or arginine+glutamine and their dosage (I hope there would not be any competitive inhibition during absorption).
My main aim is to boost hGH naturally to stay healthy and maintain my lean mass.
Also, it will be very helpful if you can help me understand whether I should take Ubiquinol or Ubidecarenone? I have heard that the former being the reduced form is more active.
