Does Eliquis Interact With Advil?

Question: I am currently taking Eliquis, as a result of blood clots from a surgery 3 months ago. Is is possible to
take Advil for pain? I know that this could affect the blood thinner. If not advil, what do you recommend? XXXXXXX Edmundson

You are taking eliquis for blood clot. So you should not take advil along with that. It increase the risk of bleeding.

If you want to take painkiller then acetaminophen is better choice. It is safe and it doesn't increase the risk of bleeding.
