Question: hi i need to know about bupin tablet as my brother is taking bupin..is there any side effect of bupin? his age is 21

This medicine is mainly used for treatment if opioid addiction.
He must have been prescribed by a doctor.
As far as side effects are considered this is a relatively safe drug if used and n doses advised for medical problems. It can cause drowsiness, nausea, vomitings, rarely can effect liver.
Discuss with your brother that why he is taking the medicine. If he is taking this for opioid addiction, appreciate him as he is trying to quit addiction. But make sure some people also use this for smoking cessation and also gets abuse to it.

he took heroin for 3 months,now he is taking medicines vasfree -100,pregabid-150,mirtaz 7.5,zapiz-1,bupin 2mg twice a day from last 30 days. How long these medicines should be taken? everything is going gud with the meds but there is only one problem coming dat s his mood to take d same again not like d way he used to but he says he will take it only once a month to satisfy his body and mind...how can i get this thing off his head?. please advice you recommendation.

See if started and taken even once a month then he would never be able to stop the addiction .
You have to council him to be strong and not to even think about taking the herione again even once a month or even 2 month.
Be strict, friendly and don't allow him to take the heroine at all.
Apart from medications only strong determination helps. Nothing else.

determination is a strong word no wonder how long wud it take to deal wid ur advice.. i agree on u on whatever you have said but he still urges for this thing.. i say i get agreed on hide once a month thing..til then i should find some alternative or substitute of thing...wud theis b okay or if u can advice me somethng which can divert his mind from it...i will b very grateful..please also advice the test to find out that when he has taken this thing last time?

In case he has severe withdrawal and urge he can be given diazepam at that time.
Nothing can mitate and give the high that a person gets in herione.
If a person stays away for 1 year from heroine then he stops feeling the dependency. That is why we never allow for once a month play.
You can get his blood and urine test done but this would annoy him. Its better that you take him into confidence and discuss the things.
