PCOD

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your reports/query and here is my opinion.

As per reports ,there has not been any abnormality detected in lungs and heart.
Chest X ray,Pulmonary function Tests,ECG,Stress test and Echo has been normal.

You might have been completely evaluated for PCOD.
Polycystic ovarian disease is characterised by multiple cysts in ovaries coupled with associated hormonal imbalance.
This imbalance is also responsible for acne and hirsuitism (excess body hair).
It is a leading cause of infertility,if not optimally managed.

You are being treated as per medical protocols.
Metformin is basically an antidiabetic drug used to lower blood sugar levels but it is the treatment of choice for initiation of therapy in PCOD.

Mantain good compliance of your medicines,do physical exercise, mantain ideal body weight, avoid obesity,de stress yourself and have a rich fibre diet.

Overall prognosis for PCOD is good and patient can have normal fertility and sexual life.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
