Brief Answer:
Fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and viewed the image.

You seem to have fungal infection. I suggest you to try an OTC topical antifungal e g clotrimazole 1% cream or ketoconazole 2% cream, twice daily In addition you may take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching for a few days.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Dear Doctor,

Kindly advice which cream to buy? I went to chemist he gave me Candid cream. will it cure this skin problem?

A few years ago I problem on my abdomen where my skin had become red and doctor here had stated that I am "suffering from ringworm infection which is a superficial fungal infection of the skin." Is this the same? or this one is different? If it is same then how is it reoccurring again ? can you tell me what to do prevent such infections in the future.

That time the doctor had adviced me to use terbinafine cream and have itraconazole 100 mg tablet twice a day.

Can I take itraconazole 100mg tablets twice a day for treatment of my current problem for a speedy recovery?
Or it will mess up with the medicines you have mentioned and should not be taken?

Thanks
doctor
