Question: My wife recently had a blood test and found her TSH level is 8.4371 μIU/mL exceeding the normal range. Earlier she was consuming Thyronorm 37.5 mg to control it during her pregnancy 1.5 years back.
Could you suggest if she can continue with the same medicine again and for how long should she take it?

Brief Answer:
She should start with the medicine

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
As she is not taking any medication right now, she can start 25mcg tablet once daily and repeat the test of tsh after 3months and adjust the dose according to her report.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
