Hello dear,
There are various causes of constipation in a child.
The most common is food faddism, as the children don't tend to take vegetables and other roughage material.
Laxative is a good option for a short period.
But too much use can cause habit formation and also the laxative stop working.
I would like to know, is the child investigated ?
Has any cause been found for the constipation?
Kindly answer to my query .
I would be able to help you better.
Thank you .
