Question: My child is having fever alternative days. Currently under treatment of Paedrician but not effective.

You did not mention since when this is happening and what are the other symptoms like cough,cold ,Loose motion,chills, fever coming down with sweating ,etc.
The fever on alternate days classically comes from malaria.
The other fevers will be there Every day.

Has any blood test been done?
