Can Non-penetrative Intercourse Cause Penile Infection?

Posted on Thu, 7 Jan 2016
Question: I am 25 year old male .
I went to a massage parlour today where I also got a handjob . the massage therapist was fully clothed at all times and she only massaged my penis to ejaculation using her hand with the help of oil. but after 2 hours of the massage, i noticed a blackish tint near the tip of the head of the penis.. is this a related event? Also during the handjob, i was not wearing a condom. am i under risk for STDs and HIV?? Also i forgot to mention that i might have seen the greyish/blackish tint before.. Cant exactly recall but i feel i have seen it in the past also ,with no issues. I guess it is the guilt related to it which is making me anxious.. Still I would like to be sure. Also just for information the massage parlour is an extremely renowned one in XXXXXXX with several branches all over the country.. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Unlikely to have an infection if the parlor used hygienic practices

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. If you had a hand job done by the massage therapist then there is no risk of HIV infection, even if you did not have a condom.

2. You have written that the greyish blackish mark was there from before and therefore not from the visit to massage parlor.

3. The risk of STDs is less if the massage parlor you visited maintains a high standard of hygiene. Usually they use clean bedsheets and wash their hands with antiseptic solution and use oils during massage if you visited a well known massage parlor.

4. There is a need to get tested for STDs only if you develop symptoms within 30 days following your visit to the parlor.

5. At the moment it appears that you are having anxiety and this is common among many people who visit parlors. Please be relaxed and your health is not in any danger. However, it is best to avoid getting hand jobs at parlors unless you are sure they are using hygienic practices.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Is it possiblee to get STD's from handjobs? I researched a bit on the internet and i found that it is seemingly extremely unlikely.. But still would like your assurance. Also what kind of symptoms will i have within 30 days if at all?? If i dont have any such symptoms within 30 days, would that mean i am safe?

Brief Answer:
Getting STDs is unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxx7,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. Getting STDs from hand jobs is extremely rare and you have read it right on the internet. It is likely if they did not change bed sheets or used dirty hands.

2. The symptoms can be burning urination, rashes in your genitals, any groin lymph nodes.

3. If you do not have these symptoms then you are most likely safe.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
