Can I Take Perfectil For Severe Hair Loss?
Question: Dear doctor
I am XXXXXXX mother of a 3 year kid, I have severe hair fall for the last 2 years , Since I reside in XXXXXXX the hardness of water is around 620, that can also be a factor.I have recently taken medical test and found many Vitamins are less, zinc, potassium,calcium contents are also less. I am attaching the reports with this.
One of my friend told me , Perfectil is a good tablet , I have started taking it for the last 2 days, Please advise whether I have to take any other medications to control my hair fall, I have not visited any doctors so far.

I have read your query. I have seen the attached reports also.
I understand your concern.
Hair fall can be due to number of reasons :
1) Anemia
2) Thyroid disorder
3) Nutritional deficiencies
4) Hormonal
5) Environmental factors
6)Idiopathic
I will advise you to get your Hemoglobin levels, thyroid profile and serum ferritin levels done.
If any of the above mentioned abnormalities is found, treatment will depend on it.
Whatever cause is found, I prefer to advise vitamins and minerals containing tablets mainly meant for hair growth like Selenium, calcium pantothenate, biotin.
Perfectly is one of the formulation like this only.You may continue this.
Visit your doctor so that he can examine you and may order test for you.

What has to be done to increase HDL and reduce bad cholesterol.
My weight is 71KG, I do 15min of thread mill for the last 2 weeks.

Hi. I have again studied the reports. You have calcium and iron deficiency. So that might be the reason for your hair fall.
I suppose you should be started on the treatment for the same.
You should see your Physician who would presribe you iron and calcium supplements.
As far as HDL is concerned you just need to keep your diet Healthy and carry on with exercises. Get it repeated after 3 months.
