Can I Continue Wysolone For Erythroderma?

Question: I am suffering from erytheroderma. wysonole 5 is controlling it. can i continue with this medicin?

Hi, welcome to Healthcaremagic,

Erythroderma has lot of causes. Psoariasis is one of most common etiology, Others are allergic contact dermatits, Drugs and many more.
Tab Wysolone is a steroid and it has rebound phenomenon as well as it suppresses HPA axis.
Try to withdraw wysolone by tapering it.
Take 5 mg every alternate day foe 10-20 days then every 3rd day and so on.
Try to figure out your etiology of erythroderma with your dermatologist and get treated for this.
