Brief Answer:
Astigmatism

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
Astigmatism is a situation where the eye ball is not perfectly round, so the power needed is different in different axes of eye and in a short sighted person this becomes myopic astigmatism.
Such powers are left behind when the lens implanted in the eye is not accurate or unequal powers developed after healing of wound of surgery.
This may or may not be responsible for the watering you are complaining about. this watering can be controlled by post-operative medicine which you are using.
Any further query in this regard please you get back to me.
