Question: Hello doc..
I am homosexual, few hours back I touched a guy pennis and tried to gave him a hand job, my hand was in contact with pennis for 10 minutes, but he didn't ejaculate. I might have touched precum but not sperm. After that I cleared my hands with dettol hand wash. After 30 minutes or so I went for urination and touched my pennis. Is der any risk if HIV and any STD, need for any test?

Brief Answer:
There is no need for STDs screening

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Touching external genitalia is not a risk factor for transmission of STDs even if you touched his pre-ejaculatory fluid. The intact skin of hands is an effective barrier for STDs to pass through.

STDs are only transmitted by either unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex, not otherwise.

There is no need for an STDs screening / testing. You are safe.

Hope I have answered your query.
