Can Nortriptyline Be Taken For Migraine?

default
Posted on Fri, 26 Aug 2016
Question: I take 40mg X 2 or verampil for vestibular migarine. not really helping. doc gave me 10 mg of nortriptyline to add in. says this is a good medication for migranes. what are your thoughts? are there bad side effects at this dose? It's either that or topomax and I really have heard allot of bad things about dopomax. I can't try a beta blocker because I exercise allot and my resting HR is too low. Running out of options this vestibular migarine is hard to treat. they gave me klonopin for dizzy episodes but I don't really feel comfortable taking that type of drug.
