Question: A friend sent me some Kratom for chronic pain. It helped, but does it have blood thinner properties? I have surgery in 7- 10 days.

Brief Answer:
Not likely to affect the surgery, but avoid using it again

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
I would suggest you not to use it anymore and I feel it is not going to adversely affect the surgery which you will be undergoing 10 days from now.

But it is important to know the surgery which you are undergoing and the anaesthetic agent that will be used.

Talk to your doctor and inform the doctor about the kratom before surgery.
Even though it is not likely to affect you, as you have sufficient time for surgery, but it is better to inform the doctor to rule out any interaction of Kratom with the anaesthetic agent that is going to be used during surgery.

Hope this helps. If you have any further queries I'll be glad to clarify them.
Take care.
