If you are using any nitrates for heart disease eg GTN, isosorbide mononitrate or dinitrate , then it cannot be used.
Viagra cannot be used with any of these medications

An increase in heart rate is not a common side effect of viagra, it is found in 0.1%( 1 out of 1000) to 1% of persons (1 out of 100).
Though it is a very rare side effect, because you already have tachycardia, it may be best not to use it until the cause of the tachycardia has been found and treated.
