Can HIV Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sex?

Question: Hi Doctor
I went to a strip club and got a lap dance. The dancer put hand in my jeans and got my penis out and she grinded on that. She was wearing a pantie while grinding. My penis did not touch her bare vagina nor did I inserted my penis..what are the chances of me getting HIV?

If you didn't have unprotected sex then stay assured as all these other acts as you've mentioned are not likely to cause HIV .. However like I've already mentioned , there are chances for other STD's i.e. Herpes etc. so better to get tested for the STD panel which will also bring you the piece of mind in this regard..

Once again don't confuse unprotected sex with all these other acts and stay away from these activities..

You can get tested for the standard STD-panel check-up after One week and repeat after Four week.. Just contact your nearest healthcare centers/diagnostic center and if required can get in touch with a Venereologist (STD Specialist) for further prescriptions for the same ..
