Can HIV Be Contracted Through A Used Lancet?

Question: I did a insti rapid test .... Can I get hiv infected by a used lancet ... I was told at the point of care I went that it was not possible because the lancet has a mechanism that can only be used once ... Is this true ?

YES ,There are chances of transmission of HIV by reused lancet or Sharing needles .
The possibility is nil if previous person was HIV negative.
Usually they do not reuse lancets.

It wasn't a hospital it was a point of care center from the AIDS HEALTHCARE organization foundation ... I went back back an they told me that the lancet mechanics just let them U.S. them one time they are not reusable ...

Do you think hiv/253657?iL=true" >AIDS healthcare foundation organization can transmit HIV by lancets.
It can never be a possibility.
Moreover lancets cannot be reused .
