Can Essiac Tea Control Cancer?

default
Posted on Sat, 3 Sep 2016
Question: I am considering taking Essiac Tea. I read where it may not be advisable after removal of the gallbladder (mine was removed 30 years ago). Is the worse case scenario (in small doses) some digestive system distress or would it actually be dangerous?

Brief Answer:
It could be harmful

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic.

Essiac is an herbal tea promoted as an alternative treatment for cancer and other illnesses. There is no evidence it is beneficial to health, and it may be harmful. So I will not recommend it.
