Brief Answer:
Check stool habits...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for the query.I understand your concern.

Well recent altered bowel habits is known to occur in colorectal cancer; but it's less likely if there is no weight loss, blood in stools especially in a young guy.
Worthwhile getting a stool occult blood for three samples in a reliable laboratory, if it is positive then can think of getting a colonoscopy done.
Also stool examination may also help in evaluation of stool infection like giardia which can be easily treated.

Hope this answers your query.
Best wishes

Thank you doctor. I had a weight loss of around 4 kg in two months. It was attributed to gastritis. my haemoglobin was in normal range. And ultrasound abdominal produced normal results. I was under impression that the loose motion was due to gastritis. Now there is also a possibility of colorectal cancer?

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for the query
Well if you have weight loss thenyou need to evaluate your loose stools too, so it is worthwhile getting stools examination done, that will give you an idea about the underlying problem. As mentioned earlier there is a small possibility of colorectal cancer.
Don't worry as it is small, but needs to be ruled out.
Best wishes
