Question: sir iam 25 year old male,i feel attracts male always,but really i dont want to touch them also,but automatically i feel attrcats them,and i like girls only,really this problem irritates me always,why its happens to me,feeling every male handsome is symptom of becoming homosexual man is it true?whats problem may i have please tell me sir,this attraction indicates homosexuality?

The 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10) states: “Sexual orientation alone is not to be regarded as a disorder.” This change reflects a change in the understanding of homosexuality, which is now considered to occur with some regularity as a variant of human sexuality, not as a pathological disorder.

You have attraction towards males but you like girls. Attraction only does not define homosexuality. When you aroused by seeing a man, you imagine man while doing masturbation or you like to have sex with man only then only we can say that you are homosexual.

- Since when do you have this problem?

- Do you masturbate? If, yes with what imagination or material?

- Have you any experience of being aroused/erection by seeing a man or sex with man?

- Do you have any girlfriend? If yes, any experience of sex with her?

From history I can say that you are not at all homosexual.

Why do you attracted towards men and you have to watch them is evaluated after detail history and mental status examination. It can be done by psychiatrist.

After evaluation of psycho dynamic behind this phenomenon psycho dynamic psychotherapy can be applied. Possibility of OCD is there considering you have to watch the men compulsorily though you do not want to watch. And it is not possible to diagnose here with sort history.

I think your problem is not major. You need just proper evaluation by an expert and counseling will help. That expert is psychiatrist and you should consult doctor.
