Brief Answer:
Better to first get done PFT.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are not taking appropriate treatment for asthma and this is the reason why you are having wheezing.
This shows that your asthma is not controlled.
Aerocort is having levosalbutamol and beclomethasone. Both are short acting in nature. So they will not give proper control of asthma.
Long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA) and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) are the mainstay of treatment for asthma.
Since you are not taking them, your asthma is not controlled.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone PFT (pulmonary function test)? I am asking this because, PFT is must for asthma patient. PFT will not only diagnose asthma but it will also tell you about severity of the disease.
So please reply me answer of above asked question, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
