Treatment For Tendonitis In Wrist?

I have tendinitis in my right wrist for the last 4 months. . ( I believe I got it from shoveling snow) I have done everything to ease the pain exercises, cold wraps, braces, anti inflammatory over the counter drugs and nothing works. I am ready to see a doctor but I am not sure what kind of doctor . And If I do go, is there anything else that can be done other than what I have been doing. Thank you I look forward to reading your opinion.

Hi,
as your complain have a chronic course you should go and consult an orthopaedic doctor for further evaluation and treatment. He will investigate for the cause of delayed recovery by doing physical examination and x-ray wrist . he may also give another treatment guidelines like corticosteroid and local anaesthetic injection, physiotherapy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy as well as surgery if needed.
ok and take care.
