Where did he hit? Forehead or the top of his head? Is he crying, did he vomit& let him be active. If any altered sensorium...report emergency right away.
Hit head on Wed. Went to Dr. , he did not seem worried about concussion. Swelling is down, now i noticed inner eyelid swollen and black/blue.
Black/blue which is a collection of blood under the skin can develop a few days after injury. Alternate cold and warm compresses on the affected area.

It must be a scalp swelling most likely. See if it reduces on applying an ice pack.
If you experience severe headache, memory loss, confusion, loss of consciousness, vomiting, loss of balance, visual problems please consult a neurosurgeon and get a CT scan brain done immediately.
