This may be inflamed bump due to some bacterial infection. Take a course of antibiotic with analgesic. When pus is formed head may appear or it may regress completely.

I've had a headache for 4 days that goes from temple to Temple across my forehead it comes and goes and I'm very sensitive to sunlight no medicineseem to help
Headache that worsens on sun exposure is likely to be migraine. It usually is one sided but both sides may be involved, is associated with a throbbing sensation and nausea, and is worsened by noise. If conventional painkillers do not help, you may need analgesics like sumatriptan, rizatriptan etc that are effective in migraine. Lying down in a dark and silent room also helps.
can a tension headache cause one of your temples to feel numb or soft. or make a side of your face feel different from other side of your face?
Thanks for the query. Indeed, tension headaches are thought to be in part due to dysfunctional contraction of the muscles of the head and neck; one of the biggest muscles, the temporal muscle, runs on both sides of your temples and pain can radiate to the face as well.
