Brief Answer:
Gaint cell arteritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If your scalp is sensitive to touch and you are having difficulty in chewing, with your age group it can be gaint cell arteritis. It is sometimes also associated with upper limb shoulder muscles and hip muscles stiffness. You need to go to the physician ASAP where you be done ESR and given high dose steroids and that would be followed with temporal biopsy. It is an emergent condition and if you delay, it can lead to blindness so go to your physician as soon as possible. Thank you
Dr. Khan
