70 Years. Early Stage Myasthenia Gravis, Bright Yellow Diarrhea, Acid Like Pain In Stomach, Pain In Lower Back, Increased Need To Sleep. Suggest
I am nearing age 70 and find myself requiring more and more sleep. I have early stage Myasthenia Gravis and realize that might be part of the problem, but now I also have very bright yellow diarrhea and acid like pain in my stomach. I am also having a lot of pain in my lower back left side. Should I be concerned? I do not like to visit the doctor unless very necessary.
Lower back side pain is most likely caused by urinary tract infection which is quite often complication of long lasting diarrhea. Tiredness can be due to dehydration and ions deficiency. Low hemoglobin level is also possible. All this issues seems to be caused by diarrhea what is your main problem. It can be caused by bacterial infection, colon cancer, pancreatitis, some medicines, hyperthyroidism. I suggest you to visit your doctor and do not wait anymore. Blood work, ions levels, pancreas tests, stool tests and colonoscopy should be done.
Hope this will help. Regards.
