About 2 weeks ago I started having itchiness in my vulva on the skin beside my clit. I would also feel some pain in my clit that felt like it was being scratched by pubic hair. I went and had all the hair waxed but it didn t help. I would wake up at night scratching like crazy. I felt like I was hurting myself just from the intense scratching. During the day it wasn t so bad. Over a week later I went to the drs and she prescribed canesten treatment for a yeast infection. She also took a urine sample and there was no infection but she said there was a little blood in it. I jokingly said it s probably blood from all the scratching. The evening after my first canesten treatment I noticed I had some bumps down there. Not clustered. Not small. They didn t look like blisters. I wondered if they were from scratching myself so bad. I did the 2nd treatment and went from being itchy to being in pain. My clitoris was really sore to touch and the bumps hurt. When I pee it burns going over them. Now it is 5 days since I saw dr. And the bumps are still there and still painful. They look the same colour as the skin down there and they all have a little indent in them. I also feel like my urethra is a little swollen. I have normal discharge. I ve been googling my symptoms like crazy. It sounds a lot like herpes but I ve been with the same man for 25 years. He has cancer and has been going through chemo/rad and has a catheter in and we haven t even had sex since August. I will be seeing a dr. again soon but we are away on vacation right now. Any ideas would be helpful.
