Would MRI Be Helpful To Diagnose Pain In Hip Joint Region?

i have pain in my hip joint region. my blood test for arthritis is negative. Many doctors told that the adductor muscle is strained and there is lot of tightness in that area. I am undergoing physiotherapy. would an MRI of the hip and pelvic region be helpful to diagnose my problem I am 36

Yes, if there is severe pain and it is not getting relieved after physiotherapy then get MRI of the thigh. It will help in find out if it is ligament strain or any effusion inside hip joint. Some time it can be a labral or cartilage damage. If we have correct diagnosis in hand then we can plan right treatment.
