What Causes Severe Headache, Backache And Double Vision?

i am a 44 yr old caucasian female, had flu shot on 11 nov, symptoms began on 19 nov (backache in middle of back). on 20 nov the back pain moved to upperback and around to my chest (hurts only when I walk with shoes vice lightly with socks). 20 nov also became weak in the legs, nausea and tired. 21 nov severe headache, eye hurt to move the eyes back and forth (this symptom has gone away as of today). 22 nov woke up with severe headache, somewhat delirious, still no appetite, hot/cold chills. 23 nov started to feel onset of bladder inflection. continued with headache, back and chest pain. 24 nov went to RightTime care - took a urine sample with strip and said strip was negative. 25 Nov - went to primary care - confirmed urine had germs under microscope. got prescription. Double vision starts. primary care did not assist with double vision. Went to ER. ER Ran chest xray, CT of brain, MRI of spine with contrast. MRI of brain. Results: Unremarkable - blood flowed correctly and did not show problems between brain/spine. One of my hands started (three days ago) turning red and hot while the other is white and cold (hands switch - it is not dominate to one side). my fingers now also turn purple (started yesterday) or show small purple dots. my feet are freezing. my legs shake uncontrollably. I still have a headache and double vision. Thyriod is normal. All bloodwork came back normal i do not have a copy of the numbers. any thoughts?

Hello,

Get a repeat urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to detect if you are still suffering from infection. If reports show positive result, you will be treated with antibiotics. Keep yourself well hydrated with water and fluids. Your symptoms are indicative of low blood pressure and low blood sugar and a disturbed electrolyte balance of your system.

Take food in time, do not miss meals. You have a negative pregnancy test. You can get it repeated after a couple of days if you miss your periods. Take anti emetic to avoid vomiting. Take warm soup and beverage. Get clinically examined by a GP / neurologist, get NCV test, blood tests, imaging tests, nerve biopsy done to detect any developing neuropathy as you are having shaking (tremor).

Sometimes, side effects of flu shots also present with such symptoms in people who are sensitive, not all people suffer from side effects. Prefer to take natural immunity boosters. To get rid of headache, backache, you can take acetaminophen, one stat when needed.

Double vision can be due to dizziness. Dizziness is commonly caused by low blood pressure, low blood glucose, low sodium-potassium in your electrolyte system. Control blood sugar level if diabetic. It can also be due to underlying medical condition like vertigo, eyesight problem (myopia/hypermetropia, etc.); also get checked by for vertigo and eyesight problems.
