Hi, i had an episode in June with the doctors describing it as a tonic clonic seizure. Since then i have had 4 more within weeks apart. I wake up with over muscle spasm in my right leg,it feels as though my leg is bending/twisting the wrong way. I am aware at this time and then i remember falling back to my pillow and blacking out. I then don t wake until the morning, sometimes with slight nausea/headache. This always happens at night. Since the first in June, i have been having cramp/spasms in my right ankle/wrist every night. I can got it around 8 times a night and it disturbs my sleep greatly. The last month i have also started with pins and needles in my hands/feet, slight muscle twitching in my legs. My doctor prescribed me 25mg x2 daily of pregabalin yesterday and i had another episode last night. My Mri was normal and EEG found 4 outbursts of abnormal activity that didn t look like epilepsy. I am awaiting results from a sleep deprived EEG. Have you any idea what is wrong and whether i could just be blacking out with the pain. My ankle joint is sore constantly from all the spasms. Also my memory has gone slightly forgetful. When i black out o don t show any characteristics of a seizure, there is no jerking, drooling, noises, restrained breathing. Its like i just go back to sleep.
