General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Liv 52 is an Ayurvedic herbal formulation commonly used for liver support and detoxification. It is generally considered safe for most people to use, but it is important to note that it may interact with certain medications.

Torvate (Sodium Valproate) and Viminta (Pyridoxine) are medications used to treat epilepsy. There are no known interactions between Liv 52/Camilari and these medications. However, it is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before adding any new medications or supplements to an existing treatment regimen, especially if there are pre-existing medical conditions.

In the case of your husband's jaundice, it is important to consult with his healthcare provider and get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. They can advise on whether Liv 52/Camilari is a suitable option for his specific condition and overall health status.

Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Dr diwashish biswas's  Response
Hi,

It is essential to follow the prescribed medications and dosage as recommended by your doctor to effectively manage epilepsy. The interactions between different medications can sometimes lead to unwanted side effects or reduce the effectiveness of treatment.

Additionally, it is important to be cautious while using ayurvedic medicines as they may interact with prescribed medicines and cause adverse effects. Therefore, it is recommended to discuss with your doctor before using any other medication or supplement, including ayurvedic medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
