Will The Vision Improve After Taking Dexamethasone Steroid?

Hi,
I am 29 yr old female who got diagnosed with a pituitary tumor a lil over 3 weeks ago! Size is 2cc and have been on an oral steriod called dexamethasone since! I know it's suppose to shrink it and make my symptoms feel a lil better I believe! But my question is: I still have blurry vision but believe vison has improved somewhat! I was having double vision and only see that once In a while! How much will the oral steriod that I am help shrink it and will my vision keep on improving. I also get headaches and my right eye hurts here and there! I have to take furasett/spell for headache 2 times at least/day! My neurosurgeon said that my tumor is growing sideways! Also my neurosurgeon has me possibly getting my surgery on the feb 28th! Also, he said my prolactin level are normal maybe just slighlty elevated! Can you give me some advice and help! Thank you so much! - Kim-

for taking steroid its deficiency is to be estimated. after removal of gland the steroid may have to be given as replacement. this may be a permanently required.
