Will Taking Amoxicillin And Flucloxacillin Affect Implanon Effectiveness?
i'm 21 5''2' and 10stone 5 and on implanon the contraceptive rod in my arm for birth control, ive been on it nearly 2 years. i have just come back from A+E with 2 types of antibiotics amococillin and flucloxacillin will these two antibiotics mess with my contraception? Should i be using alternated contraception whilst on them?

You can safely continue Implanon while on antibiotics. It will not affect contraceptive effectiveness.
