Will Notriptyline Help Me Stop Smoking?

My dr says i can use Notriptyline to help me stop smoking is this true I have tried Zyban but bad night
mares and ended up at hospital i was having an anxiety attack my heart raced also so wondering besides depression which im not depressed will this help

Nortriptyline may be useful in stopping smoking. However, it is only a second line therapy.It should be reserved for people who failed to respond to first line medications The first line smoking-cessation medications are:nicotine patch,bupropion and varenicline
