Why Is The Watson Brand Of Narco Not Easily Available?
can you tell me why the Watson brand of Norco isn't readily available accept for those who will pay the pharmacy $622 per prescription. I've been on them for ten years for chronic pain, I have tried the generic which like taking a low dose asprin. Please don't tell me they are the same, they affect me differently with a wide variety of medical problems and side effects. Been there, done that and don't want to do it again, I end up in the emergency room with severe stomach,head and kidney problems. What's going on with the mfg. What else can be used. The pharmacy called and said the prescription is ready but only at the high price and they won't accept my insurance.

The branded drug is costly because of its marketing expenses. The generic are cheaper, because of no marketing expenses. Otherwise the same amount of active ingredient goes inside the blood. But you say that the generic version induces variety of medical problem and side effects. It is only Psychological. Branded version is no way superior.
There are two options - as you are used to the drug (drowsiness and unconsciousness) for 10 years:
Either get satisfaction with the generic drug.
OR THE RIGHT CHOICE is to learn the method of coming out of the drug without withdrawal effect. For this you have consult a doctor. Just like that you can't stop it.
With a strong will step by step you have to reduce the dose. This may take several weeks/months. But nothing is impossible when you have decided to stop it, protecting your mind, energy and cost.
