Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Suhani Sethi's Response
did u hv an unprotected intercourse prior to this.
if yes there are chance that u might be pregnant and hence missed periods.
rule out pregnancy by doing upt (urine pregnancy test)
delay can also be due to hormonal problems.
stress, anxiety, physical exertion can also play a role.
a delay of 10 to 12 days is ok
Generally it is normal to have 2 or 3 days of delay in periods. But , if you had unprotected sex after your last menstrual period , you should get tested for pregnancy. If your periods are regular previously , you do not need to worry and just wait for it.It can be delayed even if you have any contraceptive pills.
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
There are so many causes of missed period.
If you had a intercourse then do a pregnancy test.
If your pregnancy report is negative then please do a USG lower abdomen and consult your gynecologist.
Best wishes
