Why Am I Having Stabbing Pain In Lower Abdomen With Increased Bleeding And Bowel Problems After Surgery ?

on dec 20 i had surgery (hysteroscopy, D&C, pap and IUD inserted...i went home same day and continued to experience off and on cramping and mild bleeding. on dec. 25 i became ill ( fever, chills, headache, body aches, sore throat, congestion...) which i am still fighting off. today i started getting very light headed and dizzy and have begun experiencing stabbing pain in the lower abdoniminal/ pelvic area and the bleeding has increased a fair amount. i have also been having a great deal of difficulty regarding bowel movements..( 2 since the surgery) this cant be normal can it?

Hi,

It takes about 3 months for body to heal the operative wounds. It has been just about 15 days since surgery. Please wait and follow doctor's advice and do accordingly. You will be fine soon along with bowel movements.

Please have all kinds of food especially rich in fiber.

Regards
