hi, I got problem with my face, where there were dark spots on both side of my cheek.
I have seen many obese people(I am an obese too) got these dark spots and it looks like a permanent blush and getting darker every day. I have read an article before it is because due to insulin resistance. How can I prevent this problem? is there any medication that I should take?

Hi

You seem to be having a very common pigmentation problem named Melasma.
First of all, you should use a sunscreen regularly before going not in the sun.
Apply it atleast half an hour before sun exposure.
You might need to apply a lightening agent over the affected areas. Something like kojic acid and vitamin c combination helps in most cases.
Eat a diet rich in citrus fruits containing vitamin c.
Take plenty of fresh fruits and salads.
See a dermatologist if the pigmentation tends to persist for long. There are many procedures which can be done to improve the scars.

Hope it helps
