Hello, Thank you for asking at HCM. I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows: 1. From your history, I would first think of allergic rhinitis. Patients with allergic rhinitis tend to have geographic variations in their symptoms as it is very much depended on environment and allergens/irritants in particular place. 2. For symptom control, I usually suggest my such patients levocetirizine + montelukast. 3. As you are improved at present, I would not suggest you further testing. 4. However, if your symptoms become repeated or become persistent, I would suggest you allergy testing for common air-borne allergens such as house dust mites, molds, pollens, insect proteins, animal dander, etc. This will help you to identify substances causing allergies to you as well as to know the measures to avoid them.
